Intellivision was released as a competitor to the Atari 2600 and challenged its dominance in living rooms. A rivalry ensued that became known as the ‘First Console War’. Intellivision offered players more realistic sports and strategy games, better graphics and unique controllers with multiple inputs.
For its 45th anniversary, Intellivision Sprint brings 45 of the system's best games back to the living room – now with HDMI and wireless controllers. Play ‘Boulder Dash’ in its first official Intellivision version, as well as the popular classics ‘Baseball,’ ‘Shark! Shark!,’ ‘Astrosmash’ and more. Each game features new overlays that display the respective controls.
