The 3.25-inch floppy disk was introduced in 1983 for the Tabor TC 500 Drivette disk drive.
It is a double-sided disk with an unformatted capacity of 500 kB.
It is similar in design to the 5.25-inch mini-disk and could actually replace the 5.25-inch disk drive in a PC with the same cable.
Manufacturers of these disks included Tabor, Dysan and 3M.
